I am so very out of practice making blog posts.
If you’re Seeing this, you maybe know I’ve started/tried migrating my blog over to this personal domain – away from Blogger. Its still active at riotgeer.blogspot.com since it couldn’t be auto-migrated in whole. I will need to rebuild some kind of portfolio page again, since that’s the only reason the old site still exists – showing people some examples of my old work. I’m not in a rush to do that yet – in fact I don’t *really* know the scope of how I want to make use of this site.
So many things have changed since my last update. I started opening a bike service shop, but tragically the building – owned by a friend – burned down not long after. VeloGeer was on hiatus for a long time except for the odd repair/tune-up here and there. I’m definitely skipping over a lot of details. I searched for a new space to start over, but I was never able to find a suitable spot that fit my needs, so it went on the backburner.
A friend made her dream of opening a brick and mortar fabric shop a reality with Seams Sewing & Mercantile – I’ve been happily working there part time for a while now. I’m sewing a lot more than I had for quite some time, which is cool 🙂
My memory is failing me at this particular moment – but a lot of shit happened. VeloGeer did officially start back up as a mobile bike service – the website is still a rough work-in-progress, so I’m not linking it yet.
